Specialized Divisions
Targeted task forces designed to dismantle specific criminal elements.
A Multi-Faceted Approach to Justice
San Meridian faces complex, evolving threats. To combat these effectively, the Policia Nacional operates specialized divisions, each composed of highly trained officers focused on specific categories of crime affecting our citizenry and state.
Major Crimes Task Force
Homicide, Assault and Violent Crimes
The vanguard of the Policia Nacional. This division investigates all murders, attempted murders, kidnappings, and severe aggravated assaults occurring within national borders. They respond to active gang violence and cartel-related executions.
Anti-Narcotics Bureau
Drug and Narcotics Trafficking
Tasked with eradicating the production, distribution, and trafficking of illegal substances. This unit heavily patrols the Emerald Cordillera supply routes and coordinates with port authorities in the Sapphire Riviera to seize maritime shipments.
Internal Affairs & State Integrity
Tackling Government Corruption
An independent body operating under Chief Law's direct command. This division roots out bribery, extortion, and cartel-collusion within the police force itself, as well as investigating corrupt politicians and civil servants within the broader San Meridian government.
Economic Crimes Unit
Financial Fraud & Embezzlement
Focused on white-collar crime, this unit tracks illicit money flows, offshore evasion, corporate fraud, and large-scale embezzlement of national tax funds. They work closely with the Department of National Revenue.
Special Victims Unit
Violence Against Women and Girls
A dedicated unit responding to domestic abuse, sexual assault, and human trafficking. This division employs specialized victim-advocates to ensure the safety and psychological well-being of survivors throughout the judicial process.
Cyber Crimes Command
Targeted Online Exploitation
As San Meridian digitizes, so do its criminals. This division tackles online extortion, dark web illicit markets, cyber-stalking, and the creation or distribution of exploitative materials targeting minors or vulnerable citizens.
